5 out of 5 starsThis pin is absolutely perfect. Exactly what I wanted for the friend I crocheted a shawl for! I hope she loves it as much as I do!

Frequently asked questions
How do I look after aluminium jewellery?
The aluminium used for our jewelry is tarnish-resistant. However, if you feel it loses its shine, you can simply wash it with a bit of dish washing soap and warm water, dry it with a soft cloth and it should be back to its original shine.
Is aluminium jewellery safe for people with nickel or other metal allergies?
I cannot give any medical advice, but here is some general information which you might find useful.
Aluminium is used for food tins, soda cans and cooking equipment (copper also). It has to be safe to be used for food storage or preparation. Aluminium, unlike sterling silver, is also nickel-free.
However, if you notice a rash or itching when in contact with any jewellery, it is best to stop wearing it.
For reliable allergy advice, please talk to a qualified professional.
How do I make sure that my shawl pin stays fast and secure on my shawl?
Most of our shawl pins have curls at the ends to thread the pin through and hold it tight. Just make sure you thread through one of the narrower curls, rather than a big loop, to make sure the pin stays on tight.
The aluminium and copper shawl pins are also flexible enough to bend and increase tension as required.
How do I look after silver plate and copper pins and jewellery?
The best thing to use in case of discoloration or the pin loosing it's shine is a silver or copper polishing cloth. Please do not use any abrasives or chemical solutions as they will damage the protective surface and plating.
